At the heart of the L21B is a choice of three high-end Osram LEDs: 

The CSLNM1.TG (5A) is engineered for maximum throw, delivering a beam intensity of up to 526,000 candela and a theoretical range of 1,450 metres. This makes it ideal for long-distance observation, such as spotting wildlife, navigating mountain passes, or signalling across open terrain. Its pencil-thin beam ensures minimal spill, concentrating all light into a tight, powerful spotlight.

For those needing a balance of brightness and usable beam width, the CSLPM1.TG (6A) offers 800–1,000 lumens with a slightly wider hotspot and moderate spill. It maintains strong throw—around 1,200–1,340 metres—making it excellent for mid-range applications like night hiking, search operations, or vehicle inspection.

The CULPM1.TG (8A) delivers the highest output of the trio, producing 1,200–1,300 lumens with a throw of up to 1,450 metres. While it generates more heat and has shorter runtimes at full power, it offers the best compromise between brightness and range, making it ideal for versatile field use.

The L21B’s body is machined from aircraft-grade aluminium alloy, offering excellent heat dissipation and resistance to impacts. At 170.5mm in length and just 26.1mm in diameter, it fits comfortably in hand or pocket. The smooth reflector and Ar-coated glass lens ensure maximum light efficiency, reducing internal losses and enhancing beam clarity.

Equipped with a 12-group driver system, the flashlight includes internal temperature protection, automatically reducing output if overheating occurs—ensuring safe, sustained operation.
