The dual-fuel design sets the T2 apart from many budget flashlights. It supports both AA and 14500 batteries, giving users flexibility in power sourcing. The 14500 option offers significantly higher output—up to 400 lumens—ideal for longer-range visibility. Meanwhile, the AA version provides reliable performance with widely available batteries, making it perfect for travel or emergency kits. The battery judgment system ensures the flashlight adapts correctly to the power source, while low-voltage protection on 14500 batteries extends battery life and prevents damage.

Mode customisation is one of the T2’s standout features. With 12 programmable mode groups, users can tailor brightness levels and functions to suit specific needs. The configuration mode is accessed with a simple 20-tap sequence on the tail switch, allowing users to set custom outputs, enable strobe or SOS signals, or activate the bike flasher mode. The default four-mode setup includes low, medium, high, and turbo levels, ensuring immediate usability out of the box.

The beam profile is designed for general-purpose use. The 60° beaded TIR optic, paired with an orange peel reflector, produces a smooth, even flood beam with a wide 170° spill and a soft central hotspot. This makes it ideal for illuminating large areas—such as a tent interior, a kitchen workspace, or a trailside campsite—without harsh glare. While not designed for long-distance projection, its effective range extends up to 50 meters, sufficient for most outdoor applications.

Built with durability in mind, the T2 features a robust aluminum alloy body with an anodised finish that resists wear and corrosion. The knurled grip enhances control, even in wet or cold conditions. The reverse clicky tail switch allows for intuitive operation: full press turns the light on/off, half-press cycles through modes. The flashlight can tailstand, making it useful for hands-free tasks.
