The NU25 MCT UL features an ultra-slim, shock-cord style headstrap, making it the lighter option for minimalist adventurers who prioritise weight savings on long hikes, alpine climbs, or fast-and-light expeditions. In contrast, the NU25 MCT comes with a thicker, ventilated band that improves comfort and enhances stability during intense activity, ensuring the headlamp stays securely in place even during dynamic movements. Both variants deliver the same advanced lighting performance, durability, and feature set, but the choice between them allows users to balance weight and comfort based on their specific outdoor needs.

At the heart of the NU25 MCT is its dual-core MCT UHE LED system, offering three distinct color temperatures: 3,000K warm light, 4,500K neutral white light, and 6,500K cool white light. Each setting is engineered for specific scenarios. The 3,000K warm light reduces glare and reflection, making it ideal for rainy, foggy, or snowy conditions—common in UK mountain and forest environments. The 4,500K neutral white light provides balanced visibility for general use, while the 6,500K cool white light delivers maximum brightness and long-range visibility, perfect for hiking, climbing, or navigating open terrain.

With a peak output of 400 lumens and a maximum throw of 132 meters, the NU25 MCT delivers powerful, focused illumination. This is achieved through a TrueVision+ optical matrix lens system with multiple facets, ensuring minimal light loss and improved reflectivity. Recharging the built-in 700mAh Li-ion battery is fast and convenient via the USB-C port, fully charging in just 1 hour and 15 minutes (5V/0.5A). The battery’s intelligent charging circuit prevents overcharging and ensures long-term reliability.

Operation is intuitive with two distinct buttons—one for brightness, one for mode selection—designed for one-handed use, even with gloves. The headlamp offers four primary brightness levels, three special modes (SOS, Beacon, and Red Slow Flashing), and two red light settings.
