The Skilhunt EC300 Torch is a high-performance, multi-functional LED flashlight designed for everyday carry (EDC) and outdoor adventures. Designed with precision and durability in mind, it combines a powerful white light system with a full RGBW color array, making it one of the most versatile flashlights available in its class. Built around a single 21700 battery, the EC300 delivers exceptional brightness and runtime while maintaining a compact, pocket-friendly profile.

At the heart of the EC300 is a quad-emitter configuration: four high-efficiency Luminus SST-20 white LEDs surround a central RGBW LED module. This setup enables a maximum white light output of 2600 lumens with the cool white SST-20 and 1500 lumens with the high CRI version, ideal for accurate color rendering during tasks like navigating, or reading. The high CRI SST-20 ensures natural-looking illumination at the expense of lower maximum brightness.

The RGBW LED isn’t just for show. It offers three distinct color outputs: Red (10 lumens, 620–625nm) for night vision preservation, Green (28 lumens, 525–530nm) for enhanced visibility in fog or low-light conditions, and Blue (7.5 lumens, 455–460nm) for signaling or mood lighting. These wavelengths are optimized for specific applications—red helps maintain dark adaptation, green is highly visible in outdoor environments, and blue adds versatility for emergencies or creative use.

The EC300’s beam is engineered for efficiency and evenness. Its optic TIR lens produces a wide, well-controlled flood beam with minimal spill, delivering consistent illumination up to 191 meters (ANSI standard) and a hotspot intensity of 10,000 candela. This makes it ideal for close-range tasks such as camping setup, navigating trails, or working in confined spaces, while still offering usable throw for longer-distance visibility.

Powering the EC300 is a single 21700 battery which supports a wide voltage range of 2.8–4.2V and is recommended to have a maximum discharge current of 8A or higher. The flashlight features an integrated USB-C Power Delivery (PD) charging system, allowing it to be charged via any standard USB-C power source—laptop, power bank, or wall adapter—without needing to remove the battery. It also functions as a power bank, capable of delivering up to 5V/2A for over an hour, making it a valuable emergency tool for charging smartphones or GPS devices.

One of the EC300’s standout features is its intelligent thermal management system. With a copper starboard core and multi-level heat dissipation design, it maintains safe operating temperatures even during prolonged high-output use. When the internal temperature reaches critical levels, the flashlight automatically reduces brightness to prevent damage—ensuring long-term reliability and consistent performance.

The user interface is both advanced and intuitive. A single side-mounted e-switch controls all functions through a series of clicks and holds. With 15+ programmable modes, users can access low, medium, high, turbo, strobe, and RGB cycling modes with ease. The flashlight remembers your last-used setting, and with a simple hold or double-click, you can switch between white light, color modes, or emergency signals like SOS. The two-color LED indicator on the switch (red for low, blue for high) helps identify battery level at a glance, while the backlighting aids in finding the light in the dark.

Durability is a core strength. The EC300 is constructed from hard-anodized aluminum with Type III surface treatment, offering excellent resistance to scratches, corrosion, and wear. It’s rated IPX-8 waterproof, meaning it can withstand submersion in up to 2 meters of water for 30 minutes, and it’s impact-resistant up to 1 meter, making it suitable for rugged outdoor use. The rubber-sealed USB-C port ensures internal protection against dust and moisture.

The design is ergonomic and well-balanced. Measuring 115mm in length and 25mm in body diameter, it fits comfortably in the hand or pocket. The knurled head and tailcap provide a secure grip, even when wet. A ramped pocket clip allows for both head-up and head-down carry, and a lanyard loop is included for added convenience. The flashlight also includes two spare O-rings to maintain waterproof integrity over time.
