The Sofirn SR12 is a high-performance, compact flashlight engineered for maximum efficiency and reliability in demanding environments. Designed as a true long-throw EDC (Everyday Carry) light, it delivers exceptional brightness and beam control in a remarkably small form factor. At just 112.5mm in length and 25mm in diameter, the SR12 fits easily into a pocket or bag without adding bulk, making it ideal for urban use, hiking, camping, or emergency situations.

At the heart of the SR12 is the Luminus SFT-25R LED, renowned for its high lumen output and excellent beam quality. This small, round emitter is paired with a deep, smooth reflector that focuses light into a powerful, tightly controlled spot beam. The result is a long-throw capability that reaches up to 396 metres—ideal for spotting distant objects, navigating dark trails, or signaling in low-light conditions. The beam features a sharp, concentrated core with a diffuse outer edge, ensuring a balanced mix of focused illumination and surrounding spill light for situational awareness.

The flashlight is powered by a single 18650 battery, offering a wide operating voltage range of 3.0V to 4.2V. It features a buck driver circuit that maintains consistent brightness across different battery states, preventing dimming as the battery drains. When used in Turbo mode, the light delivers peak output but automatically reduces brightness if internal temperatures exceed 55°C. This intelligent thermal management system protects both the LED and the electronics, ensuring safe, sustained performance even during prolonged use.

The SR12 includes a side switch for intuitive, one-handed operation. It supports both stepped mode and ramping mode, allowing users to quickly switch between preset brightness levels or smoothly adjust intensity. For safety, the flashlight includes reverse polarity protection—preventing damage if the battery is inserted incorrectly. When battery voltage drops below 3.20V, the status LED flashes red to alert the user. At 2.65V, the light automatically shuts off to prevent deep discharge and extend battery life.

Constructed from high-grade AL6061-T6 aluminium alloy, the SR12 is built to withstand drops, impacts, and harsh weather. Its anodised finish provides resistance to scratches and corrosion. The light is rated IP68 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in up to 2 meters of water for 30 minutes, making it reliable in rain, snow, or accidental immersion.

Charging is simple and modern—thanks to the built-in USB Type-C port, which allows for convenient charging from any standard USB power source, including power banks and laptop ports. No need to remove the battery, reducing wear on the contacts and improving long-term reliability.
